Passport regulations for entry to Bali
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after you arrive in Bali. If your passport expires soon, it’s recommended to renew it before you travel.
It usually takes 1 to 2 weeks to get a new passport from Singapore’s Immigration and Checkpoints Authority. If you’re applying from abroad, it can take from 4 to 6 weeks to get your new passport.
You must have at least 2 empty pages in your passport for your Bali entry and exit stamps.
Do Singaporeans need a visa for Bali?
Singaporean nationals do not need a visa for Bali for a short-term visits. If you’re travelling for tourism, you can stay for up to 30 days visa-free.

All foreign visitors to Bali need to pay the Tourist Levy. It’s a mandatory payment that helps to support Bali’s natural environment and protect the region’s cultural heritage.
It’s possible to pay the tax on arrival, but most travellers prefer to make the levy payment in advance. This allows you to save time by avoiding queues at the airport.
If you make your Bali Tourist Tax from Singapore before you travel, you’ll be able to pay by credit or debit card. Simply complete a short online form, and receive your approved payment QR code to show on arrival.
This means you’ll have your approved proof of payment ready for your trip. The advance payment of the Tourist Levy is accepted at all border entry points.
e-CD for citizens of Singapore
All travellers visiting Indonesia must fill out a Customs Declaration Form. This applies to all regions of the country, including Bali.
You can complete it online before you travel. The questionnaire will ask about items you’re bringing with you to Bali, such as medications, electronics, and jewellery.
Once approved, you’ll receive a PDF copy of your completed e-CD by email to show to customs officers on arrival.
